Two Men Stroll

Two men stroll, through their new town's snow
They don't stand too close, they don't want to cause a scene
There was a time, when they were in their prime
Tried to change some minds about what love could be

They walk away with love, through the night
They've walked away with their love intact, through the night

I watch them both, I light another smoke
I'm making up their story, I don't want to think of our own
A bad one tonight, in our continuing fight
I don't know if you'll be there, if I go home

We walk away from love, through the night
We've walked away from our love, through the night

Her words are running through my head,
She said "you're not the boy you were back then"
She says that the laughter is no longer in my eyes

Well the man that I've become
Not exactly what I wanted,
Seems the dreams I carried I let fall to the side

We walk away from love, through the night
We've walked away from the love of our lives, though the night

I watch them both, walking through the snow
And wish I loved you, like before
